Passed away peacefully at St. Peter’s Hospital in Hamilton.
 
Beloved husband of Joanne (nee Stewart) for 60 years.
 
Survived by sister, Rosemary (Keith) of England; brother-in-law of John (Linda) Stewart of Canada.  He will be fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews, cousins and good friends in Canada, England, Australia and New Zealand.
 
Predeceased by brothers John (Joyce), Cecil (Daphne), Tony (Barbara) and sister Enid (Mike) of England; in-laws Donna (Bob), and Fred (Nancy) in Canada.
He was born in England and journeyed to Australia and New Zealand in 1963 where he met and married Joanne in 1965.  He became a Canadian citizen in 1977, ten years after he emigrated to Canada and lived in Grimsby since then.
He was employed as a cabinetmaker in Hamilton for Danica Cabinets and Jan Cabinets until his retirement.
He enjoyed travelling in Canada and back to England as well as to Australia and New Zealand. He even managed to do a Caribbean cruise once.
He enjoyed sports like tennis, golf and badminton.  In the 70’s – 80’s he coached and refereed for the Grimsby Town Youth Soccer Club and had several successful girls teams.
There will be no visitation or service. Private  internment at a later date.
