Brady brings a bunch of changes

When her aunt, Barb Beaudoin let her know she was going to retire, Gen Brady was instantly interested in taking over her business, Grimsby Chrysler.

Gen had been involved in the sales business for years as part of the Fairview Chrysler operation, where she oversaw the leasing division.

The change has been even better than she would have hoped.

“I started in retail, so I have experience there and I really like the leasing end of thing, too,” said Brady, who took over the Grimsby operation Dec. 2.

“This is a great place to be. Grimsby is a nicer work environment than the bigger stores like in Burlington.

“There is such a community feel here. It’s great. Getting to know the staff and the people who pop in to visit, it is not like the bigger operations at all.”

In the time she has been in Grimsby, she has seen Chrysler corporately make some huge strides, leading car sales in North America early in 2014.

“It is a great time to be a Chrysler dealer,” she smiled.

As for her own operation, she said they will have their own style.

“We have great products to offer and we know it. We don’t go for the aggressive sales tactics you get in larger markets. We have a welcoming sales approach,” she noted.

“You won’t get 30 phone calls to follow up after coming into the store.”

Her main and immediate goal – to give local consumers a reason to shop for a car at her store.
