The Peach King Centre will be going to the dogs this Saturday – Dogs 4 Youth, that is.
“Everything will be awesome! We have GSS coming in to build a dog house at the show, live entertainment from a number of local groups, and absolutely everything a dog could ever want,” said FORT executive director Beth Shaw. The event is a major fundraiser for FORT.
Part of the preparation included crowning a “cutest dog” winner with that distinction going to Thor, a 3-year-old Samoyed, owned by Robyn and Paul Attwood. This has earned a prize package donated from Niagara Dog Training.
There will be many exhibitors at the event with lots on the go.
“We also feature three adoption centres, where people can come and meet a future best friend. We are giving away 150 swag bags, and admission is FREE,” said Shaw.
Dogs are welcome, but owners are asked to take extra care with them.
The show runs Saturday from 9 am-3 pm at the Peach King Centre.
