West Lincoln Memorial Auxiliary’s “Red Wine and Lipstick” went off without a hitch last Friday.

Fashions from Tous Jours, Main West Men’s Wear and Mirella’s highlighted the proceedings.

Among the many models were firefighters, auxiliary volunteers, WLMH executives and doctors.

“It’s difficult for someone to imagine the amount of work that goes into organizing such an event,” said Marlene Morais, president of the auxiliary.

“I credit the success of this show to the hard work of our WLMA fundraising committee, notably Theresa Cheverie, and the other auxiliary volunteers who helped out.”

“We even put our student volunteers to work that night. Our 240 guests were guided through the evening by the Honourable Shirley Martin, who also shared her expertise into organizing this event.” Proceeds from the event go to pulmonary testing equipment and an echocardiogram unit.
