Wheels start to turn on Grimsby transportation

Transit committee to meet Feb. 8: needs, cost & partnerships research key

There are several hot button issues in Grimsby these days, butwhat the community believes is apressing need for enhanced municipaltransportation services is key among them.

GO Transit is literally at the door of the community with plans in place to bring a station to nearby Stoney Creek.

But last fall the Town of Grimsby opted to develop a transit investigation study which will review not just facets of tying into the GO system, but also how to enhance inter-municipal transit as well as improving how residents can get around within the town.
