Play on the water; give stand-up paddleboarding yoga a try

Experience the freedom of outdoor yoga, the sensation of a floating yoga mat and the benefits of Vinyasa Flow all in one
experience.

Tania Mercuri is offering stand-up paddleboard (SUP) yoga in Grimsby beginning next week.

“After one class you will feel refreshed, revitalized, strong and inspired,” she said.

The classes incorporate a blend of traditional yoga, core strengthening, improving balance and SUP fit.

“When you go out for the first time you are learning to paddle and finding your balance so don’t be intimidated by having to learn it all at once,” said Mercuri.

This is the third year she has been teaching Stand-up Paddleboard yoga in Port Dalhousie and the first for Grimsby.

Classes are Thursday evenings and Friday mornings. The first class is next Thursday, June 25 at 6:30 p.m. near the pumphouse at the end of Elizabeth Street. The introductory class is $25.

Anyone interested should contact Tania for details and to register as class size is limited. She has room for about 10
participants. She can be reached at tania@footprintsyoga.com
